CROSS ICE HOCKEY SKILLS
CHALLENGE COMPETITION RESULTS
JUNE 9, 2005
Congratulations to all the
winners and participants of the 2005 Cross Ice Hockey Skills Challenge Competition.A total of 24 prizes will be awarded.
Here's how the winners in
each age group were determined. There were 5 events (some children did not
participate in some of the outside events) and if a child finished in the
top three in their age group for each particular event they received
“points”. The point system was weighted as follows:
A “top three” finish in the Fastest skater event would award 5 points to the players score.
A “top three” finish in the Stickhandling event would award 4 points to the players score.
A “1st Place”
finish in the Breakaway competition and the 2 Shooting
accuracy events would award the player 3 points for each 1st
place finish (With these three events there were multiple ties for 1st
place).
After
adding the points together for each player the top three point winners for
each age group received prizes. Note: a player could have finished 3rd
in each of the events and yet still won because he received points in every
competition.
SPECIAL THANKS TO JOHN T. CHIPMAN &
COMPANY FOR SPONSORING THE FOOD FOR THIS EVENT.
